Blog refers to an online journal, where you can post your opinions, stories and other writings as well as photos or videos. With the huge development of technology, blogs have gained more recognition and merit. In my Educ560 course, i had the chance to open my own blog and get to know about it, it's such an interesting program.

A WebQuest is an inquiry oriented lesson format in which most or all the information that learners work with comes from the web. These can be created using various programs, including a simple word processing document that includes links to websites. From my experience, i would like to encourage everyone to use it.

Google forms is a web-based application used to create forms for data collection purposes. Students and teachers can use google forms to make surveys, quizez, or event registration sheets. It's beneficial for both students and teachers.

 Poll every where is an online service where it can be used in education. For instance a teacher can ask her students a question, and they respond and the results appear instantly. It is a very useful application and very interesting to be used.

Quizlet is a web based study application that allows students to study information via learning tools and games. For example, you can train your students via flashcards and other games, which makes the class climate more interesting and fun. Teacher's should use this tool form time to time.

kahoot is an interesting game, that teacher's could use it to review students knowledge for formative assessment. By using such application , you break the daily routine with your students, and make your class more enjoyable and productive at the same time.

Pecha kucha is a presentation style in which 20 slides lasts for 20 seconds each, the format which keeps presentations concise and fast paced, students get to use this style of presentations through practice. Teacher's are using with their students this type of presentations , and good feedback came from them.

Posters are widely used in the academic community. Research posters summarize information or research concisely and attractively to help publicize it and generate discussion. the poster is usually a mixture of a brief text mixed with tables, graphs, pictures and other presentation formats.

Bitly is a URL shortening service and a link management platform.This means that, it take long URLs and make them smaller ones. what you have to do is that you need to enter the website:" bitly.com" then copy paste a long URL adress which you want to make it shorten, and automatically it will be shortened. This could be done when you have more than one reference, so you can use bitly and shorten them.

Padlets are online boards that we can use them to express our opinions and share them with other. A teacher can benefit from padlet in her classroom through five ways: 1- Reviewing, 2- Topic summary, 3- Greeting cards, 4-Questions board.
To create a padlet, all you have to do is go this website : padlet. com and you can create one. It is very usefull, and everyone could share his thoughts and view it. It is an easy and enjoyable online way to express and share opinions with others.


 

Microsoft Publisher is an application similar to Microsoft world, but differs in the fact that its emphasis lies more on page layout and design, and less on word and formatting.

Zoom is the original video comunication, with an easy, reliable cloud platform for video and audio conferencing, chat and webinars across mobile devices, desktops, and telephones. It looks like Skype, and students can benefit from this application during online sessions.

Google Drive is a file storage, everyone who is well known of using technology can benefit from this service. It allows users to store their files on it. This is my first year that i'm using this service, and i got to know it from the course Educ560  that i'm talking it this semester, and i'm really happy to know this new kind of technology.

ActivInspire is a collabrative lesson delivery software for interactive displays. Known and loved by teachers around the world. ActivInspire provides a vast suite of tools to create and deliver dynamics lessons. For me, this was my first time that i get to know more about ActivInspire and i really loved the program, i'm sure it's going to be a good tool for me  while using it later on in my classes.
